Breathe.
Hi, I’m Charlotte Moreland.
I’m a qualified psychotherapist and founder of A Space to Breathe.
I work with adults facing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My practice is broad, but not vague — I bring a clear, informed approach to understanding what you’re experiencing and how it has developed.
Alongside general therapeutic work, I specialise in trauma.
This includes both single-incident trauma and more complex, long-term experiences — particularly where early relationships or repeated patterns have had a lasting impact.
My style is direct, engaged, and thoughtful. I won’t overwhelm you, but I also won’t avoid what matters. Therapy with me is an active process — one where we work together to understand and address the underlying issues, not just the surface symptoms.
How I work.
I work in an integrative way, drawing from established therapeutic approaches to suit the individual rather than applying a single model to everyone.
This allows for a more precise and effective way of working.
Currently my service is all online for flexibility for the client.
In therapy practice, this means:
Identifying patterns in how you think, feel, and relate to others
Understanding how past experiences continue to shape the present
Working with difficult emotions in a contained and manageable way
Developing greater clarity, stability, and self-awareness
I am attentive to pace, but I am also purposeful. Therapy is not about endless talking
— it is about making meaningful sense of your experience and creating the conditions for change.
I’d love to learn more about you
and how I can support you.
Let’s start a conversation.
I offer an initial 10 minute telephone consultation where we can discuss what’s bringing you to therapy and whether this way of working feels right for you. The consultation is complimentary.
