About the Artwork
Baboon Dam captures a watering hole in the Lebombo Mountains of Zululand, a place close to my heart. Expressive brushwork brings together an open sky, sunlit grasses and a winding earth track, reflecting the quiet beauty of this cherished landscape. Painted with high-quality artists’ oil paints on 100% cotton box canvas, using reference photographs taken by the artist in Munyawana Wildlife Reserve, Zululand.
